T. C. Homesley, Jr. was licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina in 1958. He entered the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate Generals Corp in September of 1958 and was released from military duty with the rank of Captain in May of 1962. In August of 1962, he joined the firm of Collier, Harris & Collier by establishing an office of that firm in Mooresville, NC, and thereafter became a partner in the firm of Collier, Harris, & Homesley. The basic structure of this firm stayed in existence until 1976 when the firm of Homesley, Jones, Gaines & Dixon was formed and that firm has now evolved to the present firm of Jones, Childers, McLurkin, & Donaldson, PLLC. T. C. has been licensed to practice before the United States Military Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Western District of NC, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He has actively practiced in District Court, Superior Court, North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. T. C. has always been involved in the general practice of law and in recent years, his emphasis has been in domestic law, personal injury law and criminal law. He has previously been the President of the Iredell County Bar Association and the Twenty-Second Judicial Bar Association. He is a member of the Iredell County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyer and the American Academy of Trial Lawyers.
